Overall, I have enjoyed this series. For the most part, the previous books all had decent story lines and good enough mystery/suspense elements to keep me interested. Lots of suspense, and the romance between Valerie and Slade was so sweet. Jackson is so talented at grasping the readers attention and holding it until the very end. She always leaves me guessing who done it; so you do not want to put the book down until the killer is revealed. At the end of this novel, there is another killer still out there somewhere, and I can not wait to read the next Bentz and Montoya novel to see who Father John really is. Way to go LISA!!! I would be reading the narration of one person and then on the next line it would be someone else narrating in an entirely different setting. I had to keep going back to realize what was going on. It isn't door people who are squeamish or who don't believe in evil and Satan. I liked this book very much, but at the same time can say that it isn't for everyone. We weren't given enough about him to just leave it and were given too much to have him as loose end, Who is he? Was he really Camille's other lover and the father of her baby? What happens to him?
